    :: 10. April 2008 - Oudstrijdersstraat 35

On 10 april 2008 DDV had four photos made. Related to the Bastard Art Gruppe series they recreate four photos made by four members of the RAF; Ulrike Meinhof, Gudrun Ensslin, Andreas Baader and Jan-Carl Raspe.
These photos are part of an installation for the exhibition "Pop-Eye" in the old State Prison of Hasselt.
    :: Diggin' for Gordon

On 20 feb 2006 DDV started digging a hole at an unknown location. It is a tribute to Gordon Matta-Clark who made his last monumental work "Office Baroque" in Antwerp. The diggin' action is visible 24 hours a day through a webcam.
To shed some light in the Hole he is digging for Gordon, DDV is making a remix of Dan Flavin's "Icon IV". A row of florescent lights accompanies "Dan Flavin Descending Steps for Gordon in Hell.
    :: The Moss Gathering Tumbleweed Experience

On thursday 22 feb 2007 an unidentified man was spotted at an Antwerp Art Space, dumping cut up artworks in trash bags in the back of the exhibition room.
In the meantime we figured out it was DDV, arranging his "ErdEcke" for an exhibition "The Moss Gathering Tumbleweed Experience" curated by Hans Theys.
    :: James Lee Byars' Tomb discovered!

The actual burial site of James Lee Byars is - apart from being located in Caïro - unknown. In june 2006 DDV discovered the tomb: "James Lee Byars' skull lay on a bed of 6 black roses, surrounded by 6 candles on a large sheet of gold leaf. On top of the skull, 6 square gold leafs were attached in ritualistic buddhist manner...."
    :: On Kawara is not Dead

As of 16 sep 2006 DDV is checking the obituaries in the newspaper to see if On Kawara is still alive. The newspaper page with the obituaries is pasted onto a memorial slab.
    :: Buildin' for Gordon

On 11 nov 2006 opens a 2-day event "extra (SIC)" at the old Extra City exhibition space in Antwerp. Some 50 artists are involved, and one of them - Michèle Matyn - is using earth from our hole to build a large sand structure.
