 Macht Kaputt Was Euch Kaputt Macht Performance by DDV 22 september 2007 FRONTforyou - Z33 - Hasselt In his performance "Macht Kaputt was Euch Kaputt Macht" at the launch of the FRONTforyou #9 magazine on 22 september 2007, DDV transported a mass of earth from the Hole to the Z33 art venue in plastic bags. Dressed in a 1970's suit and wearing sunglasses, he handed out a pamphlet to members of the audience. While an extended version of "Macht kaputt, was euch kaputt macht!" by Ton Steine Scherben played loud through a ghettoblaster, he poured the earth onto the floor in a defensive wall structure. Then he poured a can of gasoline over his head. Mixing the gasoline with earth from the Hole he started making small muddy projectiles which he threw at the audience until they all had left the room. watch video download pamphlet |
